We love this book!

My daughter and I have really enjoyed going through the book, learning about prairie cooking and the real Ingalls family! I love filling my kitchen with old tools of the trade so to speak and am now keeping my eye out for things found in the book. It's a real treat and learning experiance to make some of these recipes with the kids knowing this is what some of the early settlers ate.
